Nashwhite coffee recommends…

Nestled within the heart of Warwick, our coffee shop blends the aroma of roasted coffee beans with a space that transcends traditional cafe experiences, offering a unique fusion of coffee culture and holistic well-being.

Picture this: a cosy corner where the rich complexities of a finely crafted cappuccino coexist with the tranquillity of a yoga session, where the clinking of coffee cups accompanies the hum of hair clippers, and where the quest for a perfect brew intertwines with the pursuit of wellness.

Here are five drinks that encapsulate the essence of our unique space, inviting you to savour the flavours of both indulgence and self-care:

  1. Turmeric Latte

‘Golden milk’, known as haldi doodh in hindi, has been a part of Indian culture for centuries. Turmeric's curcumin provides anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, supporting joint health and potentially aiding digestion. At Nashwhite, we make our turmeric Lattes with an expertly crafted blend of turmeric (and some other secret spices), coconut oil (which make this beverage especially creamy) and a dash of black pepper (which aids in absorption of curcumin).

When made with coconut oil, this spin on a turmeric latte offers a range of potential health benefits. The combination with coconut oil, rich in MCTs and antioxidants, (and when made with our recommendation of coconut milk) gives this vegan and dairy-free option not only a tropical flavour, but also supports balanced blood sugar levels.

2. Iced Chai

Chai, also a traditional Indian beverage, combines black tea with a blend of aromatic spices. Rich in antioxidants, particularly from black tea, chai can support heart health and overall well-being. The spices the blend pairs with, like ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon, contribute anti-inflammatory properties and aid digestion. Chai is known for its immune-boosting potential, and the comforting warmth of the spices makes it a relaxing and mood-enhancing drink.

Much like our Turmeric Latte, this iced chai is made with coconut oil. Including a rich and creamy texture and a subtle coconut flavour that compliments chai spices, this offers the addition of healthy medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). These MCTs provide a quick and sustained energy boost while enhancing the absorption of fat-soluble nutrients present in chai spices. Additionally, the adaptogenic benefits of chai spices combined with the stress-reducing potential of coconut oil offer a neat little holistic approach. This innovative twist on the traditional recipe is what makes it so Nashwhite.

3. Red ChariTea

We serve this bad boy on ice, with some fresh cut lemon and strawberries to bring out that tasty goodness: a blend of organic wild South African rooibos tea paired with passion fruit juice, real-brewed from whole leaves and naturally sweetened with agave nectar. Absent of any refined sugar, artificial flavourings, sweeteners or other additives. In general, many herbal or rooibos-based red teas are known for being caffeine-free, rich in antioxidants, and potentially promoting digestion and providing a source of essential minerals.

ChariTea, under the same umbrella as LemonAid, is a range of organic and fair trade iced teas. The brand is known for its commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical sourcing practices. It also places a strong emphasis on using high-quality organic ingredients and supporting fair trade practices to ensure that farmers and workers involved in the production process receive fair wages. In addition to offering organic and fair trade beverages, ChariTea often supports various charitable initiatives and projects, contributing to positive social and environmental impact.

4. Ginger Lemonaid

A fiery burst of ginger, a squeeze of lemon and a dash of raw cane sugar, served on ice and lightly sparkling. This ginger LemonAid is a refreshing beverage that combines the zesty notes of lemon with the warm and spicy kick of ginger. Beyond its sophisticated taste, ginger lemonade offers potential health benefits, including digestive aid, anti-inflammatory effects, immune system support from vitamin C, and natural nausea relief. This fusion of tradition and innovation presents a unique and contemporary take on a classic favourite, making it a delightful and potentially healthful choice for various occasions.

Above being absent of any artificial flavourings, sweeteners or other additives, LemonAid is a brand known for its charitable component. A portion of the revenue from each bottle sold goes towards supporting social projects and initiatives in the regions where the ingredients are sourced. This commitment to fair trade, sustainability, and social impact makes LemonAid a brand that aligns with values of ethical consumerism.

5. Iced Rose Cappuccino

To coffee-lovers, hot weather doesn’t persuade them to turn to other beverages. Rather, they put it on rocks. Let us introduce you to our fun twist on the traditional cappuccino: the Rose Iced Cap. The cold temperature doesn't compromise the balanced flavour of a traditional cappuccino, and the combination of espresso, milk, and foam creates a harmonious blend that coffee enthusiasts appreciate. Iced cappuccinos provide a cool and refreshing alternative to traditional hot cappuccinos, making them ideal for warm weather or as a refreshing treat at any time.

Adding a splash of rose syrup to your coffee might sound strange, however, you’ll be surprised how this introduces a sophisticated and aromatic dimension to the beverage, combining the robust notes of coffee with the delicate floral essence…think Turkish Delights. This unique combination adds aromatic complexity and elevates the flavour profile, creating a harmonious balance that appeals to those seeking a refined and gourmet coffee experience. The pairing is versatile, making it a distinctive and artisanal choice for coffee enthusiasts.

Join us to celebrate the interconnectedness of indulgence and well-being, where your cup is more than a vessel for coffee—it's an invitation to savour life's richness in every sense. Cheers to a sanctuary where coffee and wellness converge, and may your journey with us be one of delightful discovery and bloody good drinks.
