Our mission.
To exceed the expectations of our industry by creating an environment that considers the people within it and the world around it. Reducing our carbon emissions, recycling and upcycling, and supporting local businesses.
A brief story.
Thinking of where we started and where we are now, it feels like a blur. We had visions and we dreamed of doing big things, but it’s easy to forget how it all began when we’re currently living in what we only imagined would happen.
It goes back to 2010, where we had our first salon in a tiny shop on Jury Street. To us, it seemed huge. We’d previously only ever worked in other salons, where we navigated our own sections and followed other people's rules. To have a space of our own, no matter how big, was a huge deal.
We quickly outgrew the space, and within 18 months we moved into a 4 storey Georgian Property right on the High Street that became our flagship salon. From previously having a few chairs and a handful of staff, we transitioned into 13 sections over two floors. We also had a studio space for photoshoots where we were able to indulge in creative passions that had long been on the backseat.
In 2014 we decided it was time to think even bigger, and excitedly opened a salon in the heart of Leamington Spa on Regent Street. We were blessed to have an amazing team, and the salon grew quickly. And with it, so did our hunger for more.
Two years later, we opened our Stratford upon Avon salon, which is now our second prime location. We managed to source a beautiful building a stones throw from the RSC, with 9 sections and another dream team that didn’t take long to accrue a consistent waitlist.
2021 saw our biggest move yet. Our hunger became so great that when we saw an old bank go on auction, we didn’t blink twice. Whilst managing the current salon in Warwick, we created The Heist House a few doors down.
By that point, we’d opened and run four salons. We knew that if we were going to take on a space of this magnitude, it wasn’t going to just be a bigger salon–it was going to be more. More than hair, more than our clients were familiar with, and more than we could have dreamed. And so, The Heist House was designed to be a creative, well-being hub in the centre of the town, becoming the heart of the community in Warwick. But thinking big means sacrifice.
So, we closed our Warwick and Leamington salons and combined the staff and clients into the one larger space with so much more to offer.
We tweaked the concept around the Nashwhite we’d come to know, centralising the hair salon on the bottom floor with considered designs around it. There is an ample waiting lounge, working space and coffee shop, and as you head past the salon section there is a beautiful garden with wildflowers and outdoor seating. Upstairs, we have a studio space that is used for Yoga sessions daily and hosts workshops, photoshoots, meetings, and events. We have the wellness studios championed by Elixir, who offer an array of treatments and services for the body and mind, providing a wonderful adjunct to our operations as well as our ethos.
We are now a hub for locals and visitors alike, whether they’re getting their hair done, stopping for a bite, or simply looking for space to drop in and tune out.
