Nashwhite wins L’Oréal Colour Trophy Western Award 2019
Nashwhite Warwick has scooped the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Western Award 2019, at one of the hairdressing industry’s most prestigious events, the 2019 L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final.
Monday 3rd June, 2019 saw the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final take place at Battersea Evolution, London for an overwhelming night of glitz and glamour. Over 1200 of the hair industries most prominent and successful figures took to their seats for a captivating event. Guests witnessed the central stage come alive with the most breath-taking lighting, enthralling stage effects, chest thumping music and mesmerising hairdressing talent.
How it all unfolded…
The journey for our Nashwhite Warwick salon began back in January. Filled with hope and determination, our entered their photographic image in to the first round of the iconic competition. Our stunning model look stood out amongst hundreds of entries and secured a place in the second round. Consequently, the live regional finals were held in eight locations across the UK. Competing against other teams in the Western region, the team once impressed the judges with our hairdressing skills. As a result, we won a place at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final.
During an intense day of competition at the L’Oréal International Academy in Hammersmith, tension had slowly built up. Due to an elite panel of highly successful, world renowned hairdressers, the judges were brought together to judge each total look. Consequently, these looks including precision of cut, flawless looking colour and catwalk inspired styling. The judges, leaders in the industry, were: Tina Farey, Jason Miller, Paul Dennison, Guy Kremer and Adam Reed. Likewise other judges included Angel Montague Sayers, Siobhan Jones and Charlotte Mensah.
After the tough judging process each model and nervous team were taken over to the Battersea Evolution, London. Each of the models showcased their hair in a stunning catwalk show to the 1200 strong audience. The esteemed judging panel agreed that Nashwhite Warwick had met the brief. Our model’s look was an example of beautifully executed colour and demonstrated a clear understanding of the latest catwalk trends. As a result we were named as the overall winner of the Western region.
